Triangular Around Book

This one was fun to make. It's called the Triangular Around book. You can either use it like the prior ones, opened up on your table, or you can keep it as a mini book for your purse. The little tabbed cards in each slot are optional also. The various papers I used came from DCWV Spring Stacks and American Crafts. The tabs were cut with the silhouette on 1.5in. There's a total of 8 cards..1 in each slot. You could embellish or adhere your pictures on the front and the back of each card.

Square Around Book

Yep another new adventure! This one is called a Square Around Book. I have to admit this one was very simple and fast to make. The part that takes so long is figuring out how you want to embellish it. I haven't embellished any of my books too much, that way it leaves room for whoever receives them to embellish how they would like, to fit whatever pictures they add to it. Papers used were from Cosmo Cricket.

I'm really pleased on how this one turned out. I think this one is my favorite by far. I hope yall like and thank you for so many nice comments and the push to keep going!

Hmmm I wonder what's going to be next......

Circle Around Book

Ok here's my new adventure!!! Tonight I tried my hand at the Circle Book. It's similar to the Square Around and Triangle Around Book. It was simple and fun to make! I'm really enjoying making these lil books, although I haven't seen my bed much since I started. But hey what's new?!!? At least it's forcing me to try something new. And again...NO MOD PODGE involved!! lol
Papers and ribbon are from American Crafts. Circles were cut at 11in with the Cricut Expression.

Hope ya like and thanks for looking!!
On to the next project.......

I think it turned out ok. I'm sure theres things that could be improved on if I were to look close enough!
Papers used are from American Crafts

First attempt at a Maze Book

Here's my first attempt at a Maze Book. I'm in a mini scrapbook swap on the CricutMB so I'm trying to learn how to do these. Our hostess, Nancy, posted an awesome site with great detailed instructions, http://www.making-mini-scrapbooks.com/mazebook.html

Card for my Dad

I made this card for my Dad. He was recently diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and I wanted him to know that I was thinking of him and for him to be strong through this time.
Ideas were gotten from the ladies over at Splitcoast Stampers. I also got the 'What Cancer Cannot Do' saying that's on the front of the card from there also.

Cricut Fairy Cards

These were cards that I made for a group that I'm in on the Cricut Board.

This was a birthday card made with the Stampin Up! 'A Lil Birdie Told Me' Stamp set. Papers from DCWV. Ribbon from Michaels.

The following two cards were made with papers from the new DCWV La'Creme stack. Prima flowers with bling brads and Ribbon from Michaels. Sentiment stamp from Stampin' Up.

The idea for the following two cards were cardlifted from some of the talented ladies from Splitcoast Stampers and altered a bit. Stamp set in first card below is from Stampin' Up called Hope Is......
Primas, Ribbon and punches used also

Stamp set below is Stampin' Up called Loads of Love and Loads of Love Accessories. Colored with prisma pencils and gamsol technique used. Ribbon and punch also used.

Letters for Taylor

I altered these letters for my niece Taylor. She's redoing her room, so I tried to make her some letters that would match the material we used on her curtains. Sanded and primed over the original paint, which was a pain to get off, and then traced out patterns from papers for the tops of the letters. Glued papers to letters with Mod Podge and then sealed it with a top coat of Mod Podge. Each letter was stained around the edges and assorted embellishments on each.

These were made a few weeks ago...Taylor you need to fix the date on your camera!!!LOL

T-Brown ribbon with Metal 'Hope' word charm with prima

A-Large Prima added to center

Y-Added the tops of bronze mini brads to the outline of letter and used Glaze on each different color dot.

L-Ribbons, Rub-ons and Primas

O-Again a metal word 'Dream' charm I purchased from Michael's. They're made to be gift tags but I took the ribbons off and attached them this way. Rub-on along the bottom.

R-Each orange dot is Orange Stickles and then mini clear stickles placed in different spots.

Valentines Card for Hubby

I made this card for my husband for Valentines 2009.

The flowers were made with a Ribbon Flower Technique I learned from the TV show 'Scrapbooking' on the DIY Network. The episode was called Loves Me, Loves Me Not.

Background was embossed with the Cuttlebug Script Folder and then inked around the edges and brushed with white stamp pad. glued them to the front and added leaves from my Prima Christmas Holly collection. The gold hearts were originally red foam that I added glue to and Martha Stewart Gold Glitter. I love you was wrote with stickles and Liquid Pearls on top of that.

My Valentine's Gift

Card Class at LSS

Some Valentine projects that were made at my LSS during my first card class that I attended.

This one was done with diecuts of hearts for the base of the book and smaller ones for the inside. Ribbon wrapped and glued under smaller hearts so that you could tie it closed. Smaller hearts on front were a stamped heart and then cut out and assembled on front with small ribbons tied around each one for decoration. Black paper is from the Black Magic Stacks and sanded so the pink would show around edges. Valentine papers supplied by LSS.

Heart on the left side has a heart tag that slides in and out of the heart pocket. Pages were held together by smaller hearts.

Small tags on left heart are sentiment stamps from Stampin Up and then attached with small bows behind sentiment tags.

These were made also during the class. They're small Valentine cards, measuring 3x3 I believe it was. They supplied the papers and we chose the stamps, punches and assembled to our taste.
