Well my husband left yesterday for a month of training, so I've got some free time, so I made this card for my mom. She had knee surgery, so I wanted her to know I was thinking of her. It will probably double as a birthday card too lol
Anyways, I asked Angela over at Sew Many Cards if she could make me up a special image to use for the occassion and I think she done a great job! Speedy Recovery Card

This card was made for MIL after she had shoulder surgery. Husband drew me off a template for the arm and then we wrapped it in gauze type material and wire to mock a cast. Sling is made from felt and then it all attached to the front of the card. Ring is made from stickles.
