~Inspiration & an Anniversary~
Wow..two posts in less than a week. I must have a fever..lol Actually no, I've just found some great inspiration lately and wanted share what they inspired. During a past challenge over at Sew Many Challenges I came across a blog that totally blew me away with inspiration. Her name is Wendy and her blog is SugarPea Designs, which I've linked the direct post to the card she had entered, but you must take a look at her entire blog. Her work is amazing and inspires me with everything she posts! As soon as I seen her posting, I knew I wanted to CASE the image she used from 2 Cute Rubber Stamps Digi Stamps, but of course put my own twist to it, as not to rob her entire piece of art. So below you'll see what I came up with. I do want to thank Wendy for her kindness through her emails and all the inspiration she has shared with me and so many others!!
I've also just recently come across two other places that is full of inspiration and talent! Those two places would be Create with TLC and Baubles by Bri. This is a mother/daughter team and they are both so creative. It shows on both of their sites. Paulette, the owner of Create with TLC, shares her talents with everyone so freely, each and every day. She was so nice and kind to create the sentiment that I'm using across the bottom of my easel card. It wasn't a surprise to me though, Paulette is very kind on her blog to all of her followers with tons of freebies and creative sentiments for your images. Bri, her daughter, is a talented bracelet maker. You have got to check out her Etsy store at Baubles by Bri to see how the talent and creativity runs through this family!! As soon as I seen her Penguins Love Ice Cubes bracelet I knew it would be a great addition to the anniversary gift I was making for my nephew and his wife. They both love penguins, and I think it fit right in with the theme I was going with. This bracelet is beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice!
So to Wendy, Paulette, and Bri...thank you for the inspiration and the creativity that you share with all of us! It doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated!!
Ok enough jibberish from me...Below you'll find my 8 Drawer Easel card. My nephew and niece went to Sea World with us a few years back and we had such a great time. So the theme was inspired by that trip as well and the love I have for the both of them.
I hope you enjoy and thanks for looking!!!

~SMC #20...IT'S "SEW" GOOD TO BE BACK CHALLENGE~
Welcome back to Sew Many Challenges!! Our team took a small summer break to regroup and have some family time but we're back and ready for some new challenges!! This week's challenge is...."To use stitching, faux or real stitching on your project!" There are some amazing images at the Sew Many Cards store, so head on over if you need some images for your challenges this week!!
We've got a new sponsor joining us this week! Tiffany Doodles is giving 5 digital images, singles or sets, from the Tiffany Doodles store to the winner!! How awesome is that!
Tiffany has got some really cute images up for sell in her store, so you have to go check them out. Be sure to read all about Tiffany Doodles at Sew Many Challenges under the Sponsor Spotlight!! Join Sew Many Cards and Tiffany Doodles over at the Crafters Digital Arts Center!
Tiffany let the SMC Sponsor team play with a few images this week and I chose to use the "Let Them Eat Cake" set! I love watching the Food Network when they design these cakes so thought I'd try my hand at it in a different medium lol My nephews birthday is coming up next week, so thought I'd make him a cake using his favorite college football team as a theme.
