~INSPIRATION TIME at THE CUTTING CAFE~

Happy Wednesday!!! Phew for a short week, this sure has been a hectic week! Maybe because I'm still trying to play catch up from last week, when my son felt it was necessary to pass on his stomach virus to me!! Boy that bug sure knocked me on my bottom! I hope and pray that none of you out there catches this thing!

Anyways, if it's Wednesday, that means its Inspiration Time over at The Cutting Cafe!!! This week, Regina asked us to use one of her Valentine treat boxes, bags, or pockets. I chose to work with the Heart Pockets, and since I missed last weeks inspiraiton due to illness, I chose to use the Long Sentiment Tags as well. I made this card to send to my mom for Valentine's Day. She loves reading her Bible and motivational books, so thought I wanted to give her a bookmark also. So when I seen the Heart Pockets files and the Long Sentiments Tags at The Cutting Cafe, I knew they would work perfectly together with what I wanted to do!!
I love the versatility of Regina's files. I loved the hearts pocket, but I wanted to position the hearts differently. So, I printed one of the files that was closest to what I was wanting, and then printed another copy for dissection. The first copy I used to make a blank pocket, and the second I used to cut out the hearts for placement onto the blank pocket. Just what I wanted!! And how can you beat 4 pockets for $1.50?? YA CAN"T!! So hurry over to The Cutting Cafe and check out this file along with all the other fabulous printable sets and files that Regina has. Remember that all files come in PDF format and most also come in WPC and SVG formats.
Thanks for looking at my project and don't forget to check out the rest of our teams Inspirational projects!!! Regina always has a great giveaway too...so be sure to stop by and leave your comments ... HERE.

~INSPIRATION AT THE CUTTING CAFE~

Happy Tuesday everyone!!!
Phew we've made it to Tuesday. For some of us, we're having a short week this week, and then next week its back to a full one. I already miss my husband being around the house, the holidays has a way of spoiling us! Today was Christopher's first day back to school after his car accident. It's definitely been a long few months, but a very THANKFUL one more importantly. We've got a few more months of rehab ahead, but he's a strong kid, so I know he'll pull through.  Also..I'm happy to announce that I've been chosen to rejoin the design team at The Cutting Cafe!! I'm so excited to be with Regina and all the ladies once again. I love all of Regina's files and stamps, so it's never hard coming up what to do with them, my hardest choice is which file to use, as you'll see below lol
With that being said, its Inspiration Time at The Cutting Cafe!! This week we were asked to work with the Loopy Loop Bow Flower! I love this file because it's so versatile, and it comes with the bow it two different forms...with the holes and a plain one. This file comes in PDF, WPC and SVG format, for those of us with electric cutters and without. For my bow, I used the PDF file, to show how easy and cute it comes out even if you use your old faithful scissors. This bow will work with whatever project you have going, it's all in the papers you use. So get those Valentine ideas flowing, and fit this lovely Loopy Loop Bow Flower into your sketch!!
For my project this week, I made a little set for my aunt's granddaughter, Olivia. They like to send mail to each other, so I thought they could use this during their craft time while she's at my aunt's house. Olivia has been under the weather recently so I hope this brings a smile to her face :)
and more pictures of inside the box using even more files from The Cutting Cafe!!!

Regina personalized some handmade labels for Olivia to use from the Handmade Just For You Labels
Thanks for checking out my project, and be sure to head over to The Cutting Cafe tomorrow (Wednesday, Jan 4, 2012) for more inspiration and a giveaway!!!
